My skincare regime with aloe vera!
Apart from eating very healthily and drinking lots (and lots) of water, I basically try to keep my skincare regime as simple as possible, and I use very little cleansing products and heavy creams.
To remove my makeup, I use a ‘microfibre face cloth’ (washable/reusable), which also gently exfoliates my skin too.
I use a very light, fragrance-free moisturizer in the morning, and at night I use fresh aloe vera gel. It moisturizes and soothes my skin, and it’s great for puffy eyes too!
I make my own fresh aloe vera gel, which I then freeze and use as needed.
Tip:
Aloe vera is also perfect as an after-sun treatment too, it’s great for skin rashes and mosquito bites, and I even dilute some in a little water and use it as a mouthwash, as it’s also antibacterial.
Below is how I make my aloe vera gel – it seriously is so easy to make!
Step 1:
Wash and peel the aloe vera leaf
Step 2:
Just blend it!
Step 3:
Pour it into an ice cube tray and once it’s frozen, just put the frozen aloe vera cubes in a ziplock bag!
