Keep it Simple – Keep it Clean – Keep it Healthy!
You don’t have to eat less, you just have to eat Right!
This is how I start my day: with a bowl full of oats, peanut butter, walnuts, banana, and blueberries!
Oats
Oats are extremely healthy, and very filling too!
They are a complex carb and will fuel your body with the energy it needs first thing in the morning!
Oats also contain magnesium, iron, zinc, vitamins B1 and B5, protein, and fiber.
When eaten as part of a healthy and balanced diet, oats can also help support healthy cholesterol levels.
Berries
They may be small in size, but they’re huge in nutritional benefits!
Red, blue, or purple, berries are rich in fiber and vitamins, especially vitamin C. They contain phytonutrients (plant-based chemical compounds) and are bursting with antioxidants that can prevent cells from damage. Berries also have anti-inflammatory properties that can promote heart health, and they can also help to reduce the risk of developing other chronic diseases.
Walnuts
Walnuts are so easy to add to your diet!
They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants, and also contain protein, folic acid, and vitamins E and B6.
When eaten as part of a healthy and balanced diet, walnuts can help support healthy cholesterol levels.
Bananas
Bananas are a must in my diet and are always my go to fruit for a quick pick-me-up!
They contain potassium, magnesium, and vitamins C, B6, and B7.
6 Reasons to eat Peanut Butter! (apart from the fact that it’s delicious!)
It’s a great source of:
Protein, vitamin B6, omega-3 fatty acids, and it also contains niacin, folate, and vitamin E!
