(more than) 3 Reasons to eat Apples!
They’re a great source of:
- Vitamin C
- Polyphenols (antioxidants)
- and they’re fat free!
Apples are always in season, they’re crunchy and sweet, and they’re loaded with nutrients!
They’re rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, including potassium, manganese, vitamins E, and K, and several B vitamins, and they also have prebiotic effects which can promote healthy gut bacteria.
Although I love all fruits, apples are one of my favorites (second to bananas!).
They’re my go-to snack and I carry them around with me wherever I go!
Apples are also a diabetes-friendly fruit as they have a low glycemic index, and they’re perfect as part of a weight-loss regime too as apples are low in calories, they contain fiber which helps you to fill full, and because they are naturally sweet, they can help to ward off a sugar craving.
